Saw this one at the beginning of NYE and I expected a typical mafia/gangster type of film but I was really surprised that it turned out to be much more of a drama movie than an action movie. It clearly showed the influence of hard drugs and the negative effect it had on the poor environments within America. Also it reflects the whole black/italian mafia thing and it tells the story about good/bad cop. |
Overall : pretty good film!

While watching the trailer a few months before I knew I had to watch this movie. The movie is about Will Smith who is the only survivor after a virus that killed the entire population. Pretty cool to see who someone would live his life knowing that he is the only one around (except from this dog ofcourse ;)) and what you would do to make it through every day. Although this might be a spoiler to people who didn’t see the movie yet but the inclusion of the ‘zombies’ didn’t do the movie any good. I think it was necessary to make certain storytelling twists but overall I wouldn’t have mind seeing more of Will trying to survive. |
Overall : with zombies : good film, without zombies : very good film

What do you get if you put two old very good actors together? No it’s not Grumpy Old Men! But the Bucket List! Jack Nickolson and Morgan Freeman play two old men (figures ;)) who have cancer and not have many months to live anymore. So they decide to create a (bucket) list of things they should do before they die. It’s great to see Jack acts as a spoiled old man and Morgan playing a old car mechanic and see those worlds collide with each other. |
Overall : nice feel good movie!

I am Legend. Third version of movie based off book of the same name made in 1957 or 67 or something like that - book is great.
Movie was good too - though be warned. I spent entire movie with my left hand clutched on my boyfriend’s right arm and right hand over my face - slumped down in my seat. I was also afraid of dark places for about 3 night’s after. So, it’s not for the faint of heart.
